Parksville Qualicum Beach is Canada’s best family friendly beach destination according to Better Homes and Gardens.

The Globe & Mail called these Central Vancouver Island towns “Canada’s Riviera”. Local islanders often call this charming collection of communities “Oceanside”.

Parksville Qualicum Beach stretches along the shore of Georgia Strait, just a 90 minute drive north of Victoria. Stroll more than 19kms (12 miles) of sandy beaches. Walk the trails of the many provincial and regional parks including the giant old growth forest of Cathedral Grove and roaring waterfalls at Englishman River and Little Qualicum.

Visit over 24 galleries and studios, play some of the seven area golf courses, or take in one of the 140 annual events and festivals.
