Ogden Point Breakwater
185 Dallas RD Victoria BC V8V 1A1
The Ogden Point Breakwater is one of Victoria, BC’s most iconic waterfront walks, stretching nearly 800 metres into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. This flat, accessible pathway offers uninterrupted ocean and mountain views, and a front-row seat to marine life. Completed in 1916 to protect the harbour from heavy seas, it has evolved into both a scenic landmark and a quiet place to pause, making it one of the most memorable things to do in Victoria. Along the inner wall, the vibrant Unity Wall murals add colour and story, blending Coast Salish culture with Victoria’s maritime identity.
