Since 1981, the Sooke Region Museum has hosted the official Tourism British Columbia-sponsored Information Centre, serving many thousands of visitors each year in person and through post mail, e-mail, fax and telephone enquiries from throughout the world.

Whether it’s for information, brochures, accessible washrooms, directions, accommodations, attractions, outdoor recreation, events, maps, our knowledgeable staff is here to help, 9 am to 5 pm daily in the summer and Tuesday – Sunday in the winter (note also some stat holiday closures in the winter).

Our museum houses information on the human and natural history of the area and has exhibits indoor and out. We also can provide meals and tours for groups, plus step on guides.
