Island View Beach Regional Park

Island View RD Victoria BC .

The Island View Beach Regional Park is nestled along the eastern shore of the Saanich Peninsula north of Victoria on Vancouver Island and just south of Sidney. This long, sandy beach is perfect for bird watching, exploring, picnicking and swimming, and features a fragile sand dune area that is home to rare and beautiful plants. This 51 hectare conservation area offers unrivaled views of the Haro Strait and the mighty Mount Baker.

A self-contained RV and tent campground with beachfront views lies in the heart of the park. The campground operates on a reservation system, there is no first-come first-serve camping.

Some of B.C.’s most threatened ground nesting birds reside in the park. Respect all park boundaries during your exploration of this beautiful island gem.
