Spectacle Lake Provincial Park

Hwy 1 Cowichan Valley BC .

Spectacle Lake Provincial Park is located thirty minutes away from Victoria. Good for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and fishing for Cutthroat and Eastern Brook Trout. Or enjoy a short hike on the 2km trail that circles the lake to enjoy beautiful views of this breathtaking park. Much of the hike is wheelchair accessible.

The lake is also ideal for families with children. It has picnic tables, a boat launch, pit toilets, a sandy beach and, in the winter, is excellent for skating (provided temperatures are cold enough). For more information, please email Tourism Victoria’s Visitor Centre at [email protected], or phone 250-953-2033 or toll-free 800-663-3883.
