Adam Bartosik's artistic journey in Victoria, BC, is a story of passion and evolution. Specializing in pen and ink, he has mastered a variety of techniques, employing fineliner, ballpoint, fountain pens, traditional dip pens, and even brushes dipped in ink. His decision to become a full-time artist over three years ago was driven by a desire for personal skill development and to inspire his three daughters with the power of self-taught abilities. 
 
Adam's diverse portfolio is showcased in four venues across Victoria and on his website, encompassing originals, prints, cards, stickers, and apparel like t-shirts and hoodies. His art is deeply influenced by his love for Victoria, a city he's embraced as home for twenty years. Transitioning from a career in the hospitality industry, where he ascended from a dishwasher to a general manager, Adam has now fully immersed himself in the art world, bringing his unique perspective to every piece he creates. 
 
His collaboration with Destination Greater Victoria is a harmonious blend of his artistic flair and his deep-rooted connection to the city. Adam's work captures the essence of Victoria, not only in its scenic beauty but also in its vibrant culture, reflecting his own transformative journey from hospitality professional to a dedicated and accomplished artist.

The HarbourCats are Victoria's entry in the West Coast League (WCL), a summer-collegiate, wood bat baseball league that features the top college-age players from across North America and the world. Entering their 14th season in 2026, the HarbourCats have evolved into one of the elite teams in the league, winning a record 40 games in 2016, following that up in 2017, 2019 and 2023 as the WCL's North Division Playoff Champions and making the playoffs in their last five seasons of play. 
 
Former major league player Todd Haney is the club’s head coach in 2026 and will lead the team through a 54-game regular season against 15 other WCL teams from British Columbia, Alberta, Washington and Oregon. In 2026, the HarbourCats’ will play 27 of those games, plus four additional non-league games, here in Victoria at historic Wilson's Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park, just a short walk or cab ride away from the downtown core. Play begins May 29, 2026 with Opening Night on June 2, 2026 with games scheduled through to August 3rd. 
 
The HarbourCats are the top summertime sports entertainment in town offering family-friendly pricing, a great atmosphere and special deals for young and old alike. We invite you to be a part of our family and enjoy a game or two at the park in 2026!
