From lively waterfront strolls and interactive museums to sweet treats, gardens aglow, and outdoor entertainment, there’s something for all ages to enjoy as the sun sets. Make the most of your night ashore with memorable adventures the whole family will love!

Arriving in Victoria
Your journey begins when you get off the ship at The Breakwater District at Ogden Point cruise terminal! If you’re planning to stick around the terminal, you could visit the Breakwater Bistro for a bite to eat, stroll along the Ogden Point Breakwater and admire the Unity Wall, or take a walk and mingle with locals on Dallas Road.

Take a tour
If you are looking for a unique way to see the city or head downtown, book a ride with Victoria Pedicab Company. Another way to see Victoria is by Horse and Carriage. You can book a tour with Tally-Ho Carriage rides or Victoria Horse Carriage. Or, you can buy tickets on site for the PNWTS Cruise Ship Shuttle.

Floating fun
You don’t have to venture far from the cruise ship port for dinner or tasty treats. Book the pedi-cab or walk about 15 minutes along Dallas Road over to Fisherman's Wharf. This floating neighbourhood has numerous local shops in lovely colourful buildings. Barb's Fish & Chips is one of Victoria's best spots for a tasty bite until 9pm on cruise nights. The high-quality, simple ingredients used in this Victoria mainstay make for a perfect dinner stop for hungry kids and parents alike. After dinner, let the kids burn off some energy at the Fisherman’s Wharf playground.
Other great options for a late bite to eat includes: Red Fish Blue Fish, The Old Spaghetti Factory, or The Flying Otter Grill.

Sweet treats
After dinner, head over to BeaverTails Victoria for a sweet treat. If you want to take your dessert to go, stop by Rogers Chocolates for decadent chocolates for yourself or souvenirs! Founded by Charles “Candy” Rogers in 1885, Rogers’ Chocolates began as a small grocery store where Rogers’ handmade chocolates quickly became a local sensation. Today, it remains a cherished Victoria institution and Canada’s oldest chocolatier, renowned for its heritage storefront and time-honoured recipes.

Game on!
For fun indoor activities, head to the Haunted Manor Victoria for a spooky game of mini-golf or ping pong. For older kids and kids at heart, visit Quazar’s Arcade. For those looking for a scary challenge, try Horror Escape Victoria, offering exciting escape room adventures. Or visit Puzzle Lab, where you can create your own puzzle/keepsake to remember Victoria. These entertaining walking tours weave together Victoria’s haunted settings and dramatic storytelling to bring the dark history of our city to life.

Finally, if you need some souvenirs for your time in Victoria, stop by Oceanside Gifts, open until 10:45pm on cruise nights, for quality souvenirs, Canadian clothing for all ages, and unique treasures from across Canada. Look for the bright yellow awning on the lower causeway, right below the Victoria Visitor Centre and opposite the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
