Canadian Forces Snowbirds Spectacular 55th Anniversary

Victoria, BC has a way of inspiring awe, and this August the Snowbirds air show adds a high altitude exclamation point just offshore. Expect tight formation flying, signature smoke trails, and that goosebump moment when the jets roar overhead. The show

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds, take to the skies high above Victoria for jaw-dropping aerial performance you won't soon forget. The big show happens Tuesday, August 4th, at 5PM. Be sure to grab your spot along Dallas Road and the walkway between Clover Point and Finlayson Point early. This is the team's first full demonstration in Victoria since 2015, where they will be performing their full high show, filled with spectacular acrobatics, gravity defying maneuvers, and roaring jet engines.

The Snowbirds

The 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, also known as the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, are an aerial demonstration and acrobatic team from right here in Canada, known for their spectacular flying skills. Based out of 15 Wing Moose Jaw, the team demonstrates the skill, professionalism, and teamwork of Canadian Forces personnel, serving as the aerial ambassadors of the Canadian Armed Forces. The team flies 11 CT-114 Tutors, nine of which are used in performances. 2026 marks the 55th anniversary of the Snowbirds, who carry on the legacy of 96 years of aerobatics in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Know before you go

Before heading to Dallas Road for the Snowbirds aerial spectacle, be sure to review the event guide for important details, including the event schedule, site map, road closures, and transportation information. Bike valets will be available on site opening at 3:30 p.m., residents are encouraged to leave their dogs at home, and road closures around Dallas Road will begin at 3 p.m.
