Get to Know Judy

1) Best place to watch the sunset in Greater Victoria?

Up top of Mount Work’s summit. Although this hike takes a little bit to get up to the top, the view of the ocean, mountain ranges, and setting sun are totally worth it.

2) Favourite urban park in the city?

Beacon Hill Park. This park has so many different experiences to offer, but my favourite would have to be enjoying the warm sun on the grass field, with an ice cream cone in hand.

3) What is one Indigenous landmark you think every visitor should see?

Finding all seven of “The Signs of lək̓ʷəŋən”. Each unique marker contains a cultural name, significant meaning about its placing, and information on the local Indigenous culture/history. You can learn more (and find the locations) here.
