Located on the grounds of the Huntingdon Manor Hotel, just across from the Pendray Inn & Tea House, this is a great first stop if you're disembarking from a ferry from Washington State but left your bike at home. It's just 1-minute from the Black Ball Ferry Terminal and 4-minutes from the FRS Clipper. As well as bike rentals, the Pedaler also offers a range of guided cycling tours, for when you want to see the city through a local's perspective.

Conveniently located downtown, Pedego Electric Bikes Victoria offers a range of electric bikes perfect for exploring Victoria’s scenic routes. With their comfortable and easy-to-use electric bikes, you can effortlessly cruise through the city and beyond, soaking in the sights and sounds of Victoria’s unique landscape. Pedego is a great launchpad for seeing some of the city's top attractions by bike, it's a 2-minute ride to the nearby BC Parliament Buildings, a 2-minute ride to Beacon Hill Park, and just 8-minutes to the Rockland neighbourhood, which is home to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Craigdarroch Castle, and Government House.

From the tranquil beauty of Beacon Hill Park to the bustling energy of Market Square, immerse yourself in the heart of the city’s vibrant culture and history, and discover a diverse range of craft beers that embody Victoria’s creative spirit.
Cycling nature's path
Embrace the morning by pedaling through Beacon Hill Park, a tranquil urban oasis brimming with colorful gardens, a hidden pond, and resident peacocks. If you want to add a coffee or breakfast to your ride, nearby Cook Street Village is just a 2-minute ride away.

Pedal and park
As you explore the bustling streets of downtown Victoria, take advantage of the City of Victoria Downtown Victoria Bike Valet service—a convenient and secure way to park your bike while you enjoy the city’s attractions, shops, and eateries. Located in the heart of downtown, this complimentary service offers peace of mind knowing that your bike is safely stored while you immerse yourself in all that Victoria has to offer. It's just a 9-minute ride away from Beacon Hill Park, take Douglas Street to Pandora Ave and hang a left, the bike valet is just outside City Hall on your righthand side.

Cycling for suds
Back on our bikes and take a right on Government Street for a one-minute ride. Here, we'll dive into Victoria’s craft beer scene with a visit to Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. Situated on the edge of downtown, Phillips is renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation. Step into their distinctly west coast, which reflects Victoria’s creative and quirky spirit. Browse through their merchandise section offering an array of branded apparel, glassware, and unique souvenirs.

Brews in the breeze
Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Market Square, a historic cobblestone courtyard lined with charming shops, boutiques, and eateries. Take a leisurely stroll through the bustling market stalls, where local artisans showcase their handmade crafts and delicious culinary offerings. Don’t forget a stop at Whistle Buoy Brewing, as you sip on their finely crafted brews, you’ll be delighted by the wide range of beers on offer, from classic ales and lagers to experimental small-batch brews. Whether you’re a seasoned beer enthusiast or a casual drinker, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Whistle Buoy. It's just a 2-minute ride back down Government Street from Phillips until you hit Pandora, turn right and Market Square will be on your left.
Day two: Exploring Oak Bay & beyond
Embark on a scenic ride along the picturesque coastline of Oak Bay, where stunning views of the Salish Sea await. Indulge your senses with a visit to a historic pub, where you’ll taste the best of Victoria’s craft beer scene. Explore charming Oak Bay Village before witnessing a breathtaking sunset at Ogden Point Breakwater, a perfect end to a day filled with exploration and discovery.

Wheels by the waves
Take a scenic ride along the picturesque coastline of Oak Bay, soaking in panoramic views of the Salish Sea and distant mountains. We recommend cycling along Beach Drive, particularly past the Oak Bay Marina, for the best sunrise views.

Pedal to the Penny
Step into the Penny Farthing Pub, a beloved Oak Bay institution known for its warm atmosphere and extensive selection of beers on tap. Relax on the cozy patio or settle into the traditional pub interior as you enjoy a pint of locally brewed beer and hearty pub fare. From the Marina, it's just a 7-minute ride to the Penny Farthing, through Oak Bay.

Village vibes
Park your bike and wander through Oak Bay Village, where quaint shops, galleries, and cafes await exploration. Home to an array of businesses ranging from boutique specialty shops to one of the city's best thrifting scenes, it's easy to spend hours exploring this little pocket of the city.

Seaside sunset adventure
As the day draws to a close, make your way to Ogden Point Breakwater to witness a breathtaking sunset over the ocean. Stroll along the scenic breakwater and find the perfect spot to watch the sky ignite with vibrant hues of orange and pink. With the silhouette of the rugged coastline as your backdrop, savor this magical moment and capture memories that will last a lifetime. A stop at the Breakwater Bistro & Tasting Room offers the perfect pairing of locally sourced food, beer, and views, as the sun slips away behind the Olympic Mountains. It's a 23-minute ride to the Ogden Point Breakwater, we recommend riding down to Ross Bay Cemetery and following Dallas Road to the breakwater.
Day three: Saanich Peninsula adventure
Venture beyond the city limits to the scenic Saanich Peninsula, where rolling vineyards and artisanal delights await. Let’s expand our palates beyond hops and barley as we pedal through lush forests, savor farm-to-table cuisine, and sample exquisite wines. As you return to Victoria along the Lochside Trail, make a stop at Swans Pub & Brewery to enjoy a refreshing pint and toast to a day of unforgettable experiences.

Pedal and pinot
Embark on a scenic bike ride through Saanich Peninsula’s rolling farmlands, stopping to indulge in a wine tasting at Church & State Winery. Nestled amidst picturesque vineyards, this award-winning winery offers a selection of exquisite wines crafted from locally grown grapes. Savour the unique terroir of the region as you sample a variety of their finest vintages, guided by knowledgeable staff who will enrich your tasting experience with insights into the winemaking process and the history of the vineyard. This is our first big ride of the trip, it's about an hour and fifteen minute ride from downtown Victoria, but there's plenty to see along the way.
Local Tip: Church & State’s Yoga in the Vineyard classes can be the perfect way to stretch out those legs after your ride from downtown Victoria.

Ride to refreshment
Back on the bikes for a 25-minute ride across the Peninsula, where you'll experience the essence of Vancouver Island at Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse. Savour artisanal ciders crafted from local, organic apples amidst the orchard’s serene beauty. A visit to Sea Cider is about more than cider and sweeping views, it’s also a great place to refuel for our cycling journey with their locally focused menu; don’t forget to try the cider jelly!

Spin & sip
Immerse yourself in the world of craft spirits with a tasting at Victoria Distillers, known for their award-winning gin and other artisanal spirits. Vic Distiller’s signature Empress Gin is must for any cocktail connoisseur’s home collection, make sure you have room in your saddlebag for a bottle of this must-try taste of Victoria. In the heart of Sidney, along their iconic waterfront, Victoria Distillers is just a 22-minute ride from Sea Cider.

Trail to taproom
Wind down your day with a leisurely ride along the picturesque Lochside Regional Trail, offering stunning views of the Saanich Peninsula’s pastoral landscapes. As you return to Victoria along the scenic Lochside Trail, make a pitstop at Swans Pub & Brewery in downtown Victoria (just across the bridge from the Lochside Trail). Situated in a historic building, Swans offers a cozy atmosphere and a diverse selection of handcrafted beers brewed on-site.
Day four: Inner Harbour & beyond
Discover the iconic landmarks and hidden gems of Victoria’s Inner Harbour and beyond. Start your day with a morning pick-me-up before diving into the world of craft beer. Immerse yourself in history at a castle and conclude your journey with a waterfront dinner, where you’ll raise a glass to the memories made and the adventures yet to come in Victoria.

Situated in the vibrant Quadra Village neighborhood, a 12-minute ride from downtown, this charming café offers a selection of carefully sourced and expertly roasted coffees. Treat yourself to a freshly brewed cup of java or indulge in a specialty espresso drink to kickstart your day with a caffeine boost. After all, not all brews have to be boozy!

Vintage vibes, cold pints
Mid-ride adventures call for a stop at Swift Brewing, where the retro vibe makes it feel like you’ve pedaled straight into a time machine. Grab a pint of Smooth Operator, a perfectly crisp refresher, and soak in the vintage charm before heading back on your cycling journey. Just 7-minutes from Quadra Village, it’s a pause that’s as memorable as the ride itself.

Cycling through history
Embark on a journey through time with a visit to Craigdarroch Castle Historic House Museum, a Victorian-era mansion offering captivating architecture and panoramic city views. 16-minutes from Swift Brewing, our ride takes you right through the heart of downtown Victoria, don't be afraid to leave yourself a little extra time to pop into any shops along the way.

Dinner at The Drake Eatery is a true local experience, where great food and West Coast craft beer come together in a welcoming, distraction-free space. With 29 taps featuring a constantly rotating selection from independent brewers, every visit feels like a new discovery. Whether you're there for a bite or a brew, the social atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to unwind and savour the flavours of Victoria’s craft beer scene. If you feel like dropping your bike off for the night before rolling into The Drake, you'll find it makes a great launch pad for a pub crawl, as it finds itself nestled between Swan's Brewpub across the street and Whistle Buoy Brewing also in Market Square.
