Victoria Indigenous Cultural Festival

Join the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations in celebrating National Indigenous Day weekend in downtown Victoria from June 21-23, 2019.

Enjoy three days of free, spectacular performances on an outdoor stage in the plaza at the Royal BC Museum in the heart of downtown Victoria, BC. Each day starts with performances from the two local Host Nations and follows with shows from Indigenous performers from across British Columbia. Indigenous artisans will be on-site with their goods for sale - carvings, prints, jewelry and more. Plus, you can watch special artisan demonstrations and learn more about the creative process from the artisans themselves. Sample the culinary talents of the Songhees Nation. Mouthwatering BBQ salmon burger, fry bread, and the traditional clam chowder that always steals the show.

A canoe crossing protocol welcome will be happening at 10:30 AM on Friday followed by the festivals official opening at 11:00 AM at the Royal BC Museum Plaza.
