Andrew Little

Director, Policy and Indigenous Relations

Andrew is part of a small but mighty team in the B.C. government that oversees implementation of the provincial tourism framework, creating opportunities and reducing barriers for sustainable tourism growth. He is responsible for Indigenous tourism, the Tourism Events Program, and tourism emergency management. An experienced leader within the British Columbia government, Andrew’s career has spanned 26 years providing guidance on strategic planning, intergovernmental relations, policy analysis, land use planning, stakeholder engagement, and communications. For the last 15 years, Andrew has been a valued member of the Tourism Branch and is currently the Director, Policy and Indigenous Relations. In this role, Andrew is primarily responsible for Indigenous tourism, the Tourism Events Program, and tourism emergency management. His contributions to tourism over the years span a variety of policies, programs and issues related to topics such as workforce development, transportation, border access, taxation, tourism land use, events, the cruise industry, campgrounds, mountain bike tourism, and sustainability.
