Daphne served as the head of communications for the Caribbean climate change in fisheries project at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, she was the Editor-in-Chief of Living Barbados Magazine, a luxury lifestyle magazine with offices in Barbados and Canada, and was President of Thomvest Ventures (Barbados) Ltd., a $500mm cross-stage venture capital fund with offices in Barbados, San Francisco and Toronto. She is widely published across an extensive variety of platforms including Forbes and The Sunday Times (London) and holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York. Daphne is a trustee of dance4life, sits on the board of advisors of the American Caribbean Maritime Association (as an environmental advisor) and volunteers with the Zero Waste Trust.
