Kevin has combined his love of big-picture thinking with deep experience as a geographer, backcountry park ranger and teacher, to build one of the premier ecotourism organizations on the British Columbia coast. Kevin believes in building the industry, not just his company, and is active as an executive member of many respected industry organizations that create the framework for conservation-based tourism.
He is excited by how business can be part of a positive, symbiotic relationship between economics, society and the natural world -- and by using Maple Leaf Adventures, an ecotourism-based expedition cruise company, to show it can be done. Kevin looks at business as usual and seeks continually to do better, and to be a voice for positive change.
