Volunteer Program Coordinator

Tourism Victoria is seeking a seasonal Volunteer Program Coordinator from Mid-March through to the end of October 2018. This role involves management of more than 70 of Tourism Victoria's volunteers who are responsible for welcoming and providing travel information to visitors throughout downtown Victoria, including a kiosk at Ogden Point Cruise Ship Terminal. We are looking for a highly motivated, organized individual who is keen to oversee our Volunteer Program. 

The hourly wage for this position is $16.50 based on a 35-40 hour work week. Tourism Victoria offers an incredible work environment that promotes a fun and productive atmosphere and we are looking forward to welcoming a new addition to our team.

Visitor Information Counsellor 

Tourism Victoria is seeking a full-time seasonal Visitor Information Counsellor (VIC) with direct responsibilities of providing travel information to the public, selling tickets and product booking accommodation. This individual would be a positive team player who is motivated in a sales-focused environment.

The hourly wage for this position is $15.00 based on a 32-40 hour work week. Tourism Victoria offers an incredible work environment which promotes a fun and productive atmosphere. This individual will support VIC's by sharing accurate knowledge and offering guidance through experience.

Tourism Victoria Visitor Services Volunteer

Join Tourism Victoria's team of over 75 volunteers, our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers play an important role in welcoming visitors to our destinations and promoting Victoria! You may bump into a team of our friendly volunteers roaming the main pedestrian corridors of downtown Victoria or greeting cruise ship passengers from our Ogden Point Kiosk. They are happy to offer directions, provide recommendations on sightseeing tours, attractions, activities and so much more.
